The College of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad and the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah, is holding the 5^th International Agricultural Conference 5^thIAC-2025

Which will be held in a combined in-person

and electronic manner via the (google meet) platform for the period from 16-17, April 2025 at the University of Mosul.

Conference Objectives:

• Enhancing scientific cooperation between colleges of agriculture in Iraq.

• Adopting modern technologies in agriculture.

• Raising awareness about the importance of sustainable food security and smart agriculture.

• Addressing the challenges of food and water security in Iraq.

• Providing a platform for exchanging experiences and ideas between academics and the private agricultural sector.

1. Research must be in English exclusively.
2. The research must be original and not previously published or accepted for publication, and the principles of scientific writing and intellectual property must be preserved.
3. The research must be within the conference themes and consistent with them and achieve the conference objectives.
4. The research must not exceed 15 pages.
5. Full information about the researchers (name, place of work: department, college, university and country, researchers’ emails).
6. The research must contain: the title, names of the researchers and their details, a simple summary, and at least 3 keywords, and include the introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, and the research ends with the sources.
7. The research paper must contain an introduction that includes the objectives, the research problem, the theoretical framework, previous studies, the scientific methodology, results, and suggestions.
8. Font size 11, and the papers are arranged vertically, not horizontally.
9. For animal production research, food sciences, human food, or research that includes experiments or dissection of production animals, the standard number of the laboratory in which the experiments are conducted must be added within the work steps, which is called the Approval statement. An example of this is adding the following sentence within the work methods:

Operation with laboratories in Mosul University Ethical Approval No. Um.VET.2021.5.,.

10. The plagiarism rate does not exceed 20% and the percentage of using artificial intelligence is 20%.
11. The approved documentation is the American Psychological Association system, seventh edition (APA).
